Enigma is a 5,000-square-foot teen center located within the Shakopee Community Center. There is no cost to hang out at Enigma during drop in times and a small charge applies for special events.

What is there to do at Enigma? See live bands, dance at a DJ event, play PS2, XBOX, Nintendo, catch a movie on the 52-inch TV, play foosball, pool, ping-pong, air hockey, pop-a-shot and more. Video games and movies are available for free checkout.

Enigma is governed by a Teen Advisory Board that represents the users of the facility. The Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department oversees the Board of Enigma and provides one adult staff person at all times.

The Teen Advisory Board is comprised of sixth- through 12th-graders who want to get involved in planning, implementing, operating and making the teen center their own. Call Brad at (952) 233-9507 for more information or just attend a meeting! Advisory Board meetings are currently held at 3:30 p.m. every Thursday.

Please consider the teen center as a new home for that lightly used sofa, game table, TV, video game system, sound/light equipment, décor item…or just whatever you think would be a cool addition. Call Brad at 233-9507 for donation information.

Looking for a place to have that big event or party? Rent out Enigma and have access to all of the amenities available. TVs, game tables, movies, video games, sound system, stage lights and more! A staff person is provided to facilitate your event.

Rental rate of $65 per hour with a two-hour minimum, plus tax.  Additional staff charged at $20 per hour if needed (live sound, extended hours).
